Bengals 2018 Regular Season Schedule

The Bengals' 2018 schedule features the first Thursday Night Football home opener in team history.

The Bengals start the season at Indianapolis at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. The Bengals kick off Week 2 when they host division rival Baltimore at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in a nationally televised game on NFL Network. This is the third season in a row the Bengals have played a September Thursday night home game.

"It's important that we get off to a fast start," said head coach Marvin Lewis. "Having the home opener versus a division team on Thursday night adds to the excitement to start the season."

The Bengals' schedule includes three road games in the first four weeks, followed by six home games in the next nine weeks from Oct. 7-Dec. 2. The Bengals wrap up the season with two division games, including the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the ninth season in a row the Bengals play a division opponent to end the season.

Flexible scheduling involving Sunday Night Football may be used each week during Weeks 11-17. Also, in Weeks 5-10, Sunday games are subject to flexible scheduling with SNF, though it is limited to no more than two instances during that six-week span. Flexible scheduling into Saturday time slots in Weeks 15 and 16 also is part of the 2018 NFL schedule. In addition, any Sunday game may be moved from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., or vice versa.

The TV broadcast of the Bengals' Week 2 contest on NFL Network also will be simulcast in Cincinnati by a local non-cable station, yet to be determined.

Preseason Schedule Dates and Times

Dates and kickoff times are now set for all Bengals 2018 preseason games. The Bengals open the preseason with a home game against the Chicago Bears at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, followed by a road game against the Dallas Cowboys at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.

Cincinnati will play a nationally televised (FOX) road game at Buffalo at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, marking the ninth time in as many years for the Bengals to be selected by the league's broadcast partners for a preseason national broadcast.

The preseason finale against Indianapolis will be played at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at Paul Brown Stadium.
